Home Theatre Surround Sound Systems
Home theater system is a sound around you that comes from the front, back and both sides where you can listen from all sides. The rest of the speakers take what they have been assigned. The system may be broad or specific. A configuration with five speakers will transmit the sound accordingly, even if several channels encode on the disc. Many films are published on the disc or broadcast in six channels, but a growing number come home to viewers in a format of eight channels.
When connected and properly arranged, the speakers work in a surround sound setup to properly fit the space to fill their size dependent and to direct the sound to the optimal viewing and listening area.
You may find that the surround sound systems are called in numbers, such as 5.1, 7.1, 9.1 surround sound. This way, you can know how many speaker components in the system. 7.1 configuration has eight channels: seven channels discrete main audio divided between seven speakers and fed to the subwoofer channel for deep sounds.
· A 5.1 surround sound system closes the left and right in the front near the screen, a middle channel for the voices to sit the left and right speakers for each side of the seat and the subwoofer speakers.
· A 7.1 surround sound system has the same basic configuration as the 5.1 but also includes a right and left rear speaker placed behind the viewer.
· 9.1 configuration adds another pair of speakers to the 7.1 mix. While speakers allow a smaller configuration (front, next and rear) travel sound effects freely left and right, forward and backward, two speakers, each mounted one feet above the left or right front speakers corresponding noise give a chance for height. The height gives the music and audio effects different axis, an even more intense experience.
Each of these systems can also incorporate several subwoofers, increasing the number to the right of the decimal point. Four subwoofers need to take a point each in a diamond that surrounds the listener, creating a network of bumps and squeaks that catch everything in the middle and make sure you get a good vibration. Due to the subwoofers the bass reproduction enhances movies and music a bit harder and sharper. Best surround speakers are those that apply the most advanced materials of the highest quality with the most sophisticated technology. We suggest purchasing home theater systems built by someone who understands the sound quality of the movies because they also build for cinemas.
