It has many features it has 2 channels driven, 5 analog audio inputs and 1 output, which comes with a phono input for if you want to connect to a turntable. Unfortunately, this product has no surround sound. It is compatible with the DS-A5 Airplay dock for Apple devices (iPhone, iPod, etc.). We like this simple product and many consumers do as well. For those that are looking for various connections like (HDMI, OPTICAL, etc.) you may want to find a different unit, there are no digital input or out puts on this receiver.
